The Year 2011

The year of 2011 is going to be a BIG one.
In May I will turn 30 years old.
Also in May, Matt will be graduating from grad school.
In July we will get married in Washington.
In August we will celebrate our marriage again in Minnesota.
Other friends and family getting married and having babies.
That's not counting all of the special moments in between that I don't even know about yet.

Now... let me start thinking about some good New Year's resolutions...

All It Takes

Is one weird-o to ruin a perfectly good picture!

I sure do love that weird-o.

Christmas Week!

How is it possible it's Christmas week???   One year ago tomorrow we closed on our beautiful home.  One year and one day ago we were engaged!  This wedding will be here before I know it.

Merry CHRISTmas everyone!

SCUBA Pictures are HERE!

My favorites in 2009 were the engagement and new home (in that order).

My favorites in 2010 were the cruise to the Bahamas and SCUBA!  And Orcas Island, of course.  SCUBA pictures to come...

 One of my favs.

Look closely...  you can see Matt behind me bumping his head into the ship.

I discovered this creepy fella.  Did you know... Moray eels have a second set of jaws in their throat called pharyngeal jaws, which also possess teeth. When feeding, morays launch these jaws into the mouth, where they grasp prey and transport it into the throat and digestive system. Moray eels are the only animal that uses pharyngeal jaws to actively capture and restrain prey.

I'm glad I didn't know at the time this picture was shot.

Blog Stalker

I am a blog stalker.

I don't mind if you are too.  Reading this won't be the most interesting part of your day, I can promise you that.  You will see many pictures of my dog.  You will probably hear a lot about wedding stuff.  You know, the stuff I'm thinking about on that particular day when I remember I have a blog that I haven't posted to in months.

So... welcome to my blog.
Here's a picture of my dog to get us started.
