Sara Update

We have kept busy
while waiting on little sissy
to come out and join us.

Sara is loving her independence
and being able to do things herself
like brushing her teeth.

We have been working on her
treating her furr sissy nicely.
She's going through a phase
where she likes to swat at her.

We started potty training
with the 3 day method.

Sara has done so well!
We still do pull-ups at night
but she totally "gets" it.

She likes to use a "big girl" cup.

Less than two weeks left
until baby sissy is here!

All Star Race

Daddy won tickets to the
All Star NASCAR race
and took mommy to her
very first race.

Little Big Town played a concert
before the race.

Thankfully,
our seats were in the
air conditioned Lowe's suite.

It was a hot day
and would have been tough
for pregnant mommy.

We had a quick Q&A session
with Jimmie Johnson
who drives the Lowe's 48 car.

We visited pit row
and got pictures up close
of the finish line.

We dropped Sara off at Miss Kandi's
just in time for her afternoon nap.

Snack time at Miss Kandi's
includes pretzels with nutella.

We were told she ate more for dinner
than her friend Mason!

When it was time for bed,
she got to have a sleepover
in Mason's room.

Mason told me she snored a little
and tried to steal his covers.

Memorial Weekend

We had a great memorial weekend.

Beautiful weather
and quality time spent
with family and friends.

Jeanne came to visit.

Sara kept her busy
with coloring and tea parties.

We were invited to a pool party
at our neighbor's friends house.

Sara swam a little with daddy
and enjoyed the yummy food.

On Monday,
we had another pool party
in Sara's kiddie pool
with her best friend Mo'Mash
(a.k.a Gunnar).

Mother's Day

We spent Mother's Day
the same way we always do.

A trip to Lowe's to pick out flowers
for my hanging baskets!

Being a mommy
to this sweet girl
is the BEST!

I'm very excited
for her sister
to join us.

Backyard Camping

Daddy and Sara spent
their first evening
under the stars.

Sara lasted until 9:30pm
in the tent
until she was "all done dis".

She still had a great time
helping setup the tent
and sitting around the campfire.
