Sara is officially
a part of God's kingdom!
She wore a beautiful baptismal gown
that was handcrafted by her Grandma Snegosky.
She made the gown entirely
out of her own wedding dress!
The baptism took place
after the hymn of the day
which was after the sermon
which made this momma nervous.
To my surprise,
Sara was a perfect angel.
No fussing what-so-ever.
After a quick diaper change
during the children's sermon
She watched Pastor Paul Lutter
while he gave his sermon
and she did not make a peep.
The Pastor invited all children
to join us for a front row seat
(including my friend's son, Leo)
which I thought was really special.
Sara was slightly confused / annoyed
when Pastor Paul poured holy water
on her head.
It was pretty cute.
After the baptism, the pastor took Sara
and walked her down the aisle
to introduce her to the congregation.
The church gave Sara a baptismal chest.
Someone from the congregation makes them.
It included a crochet prayer shall
her baptismal candle
a bulletin from the service
and a medallion engraved with Sara's name.
God Bless you, Sara Mae!
