While Mom & Dad were away
Nana & Papa spent some quality time
with the girls.
Starting with a trip to Zootastic.
Anna loves to read books about the potty
and to sit on the potty.
I'm guessing she will be pretty easy
to potty train in August.
Sara received a craft project
from the Legaults.
She needed some help
but it turned out really cute!
We had a week with a bunch of caterpillars.
Sara was scared of them at first
so mom held a couple in front of her
to show her they could not hurt her.
After that, she loved to hold
and play with all the caterpillars
she could find.
Sara was scared to drive her jeep
when we first bought it
but something changed and now she loves it.
She even drives it in fast speed!
Anna likes to go for jeep rides too.
Mom picked up some canvas
and got the girls painting
so we could add more color to our walls.
They did a great job!
We dyed our Easter eggs the night before Easter
and ate them for breakfast before church.
Yummy!
We went to church in the morning
and while at church,
the Easter bunny stopped by our house
with Easter baskets for the girls!
Sara received surprise flowers
from her neighbor friend, Mason.
The rodeo came to Troutman.
Sara went with daddy and had a blast.
She went with mom the next day
and was more excited for ice cream.
We met up with the Barkley family.
Poor Anna has had her share of sick days.
Daycare sure is building her immunity.
Daddy and Sara went camping
at Lake Norman State Park.
Aside from a burn on Sara's hand,
they had a great time.
Mom and Anna stopped by
for a quick visit
before they closed the park exit.
