Birthday Visitors

We had a fun visit

with Uncle Mike and Miss Tamara.

They drove down

and spent my birthday week with us.

They toughed out the sprinkles

to cook hot dogs and s'mores on the bonfire

for my birthday dinner.

On Friday, Matt and Mike

got a tour of the Penske shop

with our neighbor Mr. Mike Legault.

After their tour, we drove to Charleston, SC

to spend the weekend.
The girls LOVED the hotel breakfast.
They slept really well in the hotel too.

We spent our entire Saturday

at Sullivan's Island beach.

It was a little windy

but we found a spot by the dunes

a little more protected.

 

 

 

 

  

On Sunday, we went into Charleston

before driving home.

We stopped at the market

and had a picnic

at the Battery park on the water.

 

 

For the drive back home,

we switched Anna from rear facing

to forward facing.

She was thrilled to have the extra leg room.

We got back for a neighborhood party
and Uncle Mike and Miss Tamara
drove back to MN after the girls went to bed.
