Hannan and Leske Week

Before the week started,
we got a show as a crew came
to take down the neighbor's trees.

After breakfast,
we headed out to supervise
while the tree removers worked.

Papa was really happy
to see some of the view-blocking limbs removed.

Shortly after they were done,
our first guests of the week showed up,
the Hannans!

Auntie Linda was also able to
show up for this week.

It worked out perfectly
as I had taken the entire week off from work.

We had a blast swimming,
fishing, coloring, walking and boating.

The kiddos were a little scared
of the lake.

So...
when they decided to try swimming
with their clothes on,
we didn't mind a bit!

It was tough to say our goodbyes
at the end of the week,
but we know October will come soon.

I was able to sneak away
and meet up with my old neighbor, Heather
and her sister, Laura
and all their children.

The girls had fun eating McDonalds
and running around Anderson Gardens
with the kiddos.

We got back to the lake to pick-up Linda
then headed over to Stacey & Eric's
for a play date.

Bridger hooked the kids up with popsicles
and they played on the new play set.

Sara is still clearly smitten with Bridger.
She wouldn't stop hugging him.

Emmy and Anna tolerated each other.
And Ty just tried to keep up with them all.

After our play date,
we drive into town to grab a pizza
and take it to the Ripley campgrounds
to visit Uncle Mike.

We walked to the park
and played a long game of hide & seek.
It was a little chilly
but the girls didn't complain.

When we got back to the lake,
we took the boat out for one last ride.
Sara did a great job with the boat lift
during our entire trip.
