I think the girls were worn out
from the road trip.
They both passed out on the drive
to the lake.
Sara even passed out mid-color.
We lucked out with great weather
for some fun on the water.
Nana & Papa got a new boat and
Sara & Daddy had to practice driving it.
Anna let us know she was scared
of the lake
by saying over and over,
"I don't want to be scared of the water."
Anna did get in the kayak with mommy.
We padded to the turtle lagoon.
Anna had no interest in swimming.
Sara couldn't wait to get in the lake.
Mom and Sara took a paddle
to Boll's in the bay.
Sara was so excited to see
all her cousins she has in Minnesota.
When we arrived,
Robert & Amy were loading
the boat for tubing.
Sara actually wanted to try it!
When we returned to Nana & Papa's
it was time to try fishing.
The fish weren't really biting
but Sara did manage to reel in
a couple of nice sunnies.
Then it was time for mom and Sara
to paddle to the turtle lagoon.
We took one more boat ride
before turning in for the night.
