2018 in Review Continued

... continued from prior blog post.

JULY

After a fun week at the lake
we went East to the new Hannan's homestead
near Rockford, MN.

We went to the park,
went swimming,
and made homemade popsicles!

Were able to take a quick trip to Prior Lake
to meet baby Lauren.

Then it was back on the road,
with Nana,
to North Carolina.

AUGUST

We took a roadtrip to Gatlinburg
to hike to Grotto Falls.
On the trail,
we saw a couple of bear cubs!

The girls had a great time
with their VBS super hero theme.

We have two gymnasts in the house.

Playdates with friends.

The biggest news of the year...
... we have a KINDERGARTNER!

Sara is a kindergartner at Pine Lake Prep
Go Pride!

Along with Sara,
Mama also returned to school
as a Technology Specialist!

SEPTEMBER

Our good friends
Ashley and Justin
got married!

OCTOBER

Kindergarten fun at the football field
with a fun run and a football game.

Lake day with church.
Camping with daddy.
School lunches with mommy.
Monarch butterflies at school! (my favorite!)
And a day at Patterson Farm with church.

Ariel and Skye had fun trick or treating.

Sara opened her first hot chocolate business
and was very successful.
Anna was a great hired hand.

NOVEMBER

Daddy daughter date!
Daddy took Anna on a day of adventure.
SeaLife, milk shakes, and a movie!

We celebrated Thanksgiving with Sara
at her school for lunch.

Nana came to visit!
She helped in Sara's classroom,
had Thanksgiving lunch with Anna,
and we all went to Great Wolf Lodge!

Thanksgiving - with a deep fried turkey!

The girls got a new bunk bed
and love sharing a room.

DECEMBER

We lucked out this year and got
10" of snow in ONE day
A couple of weeks before Christmas.

It made all the Christmas decorations
look that much prettier.

We had an angel and sheep in our church Christmas program.

After the Christmas program,
we celebrated Christmas as a family
by opening presents.

We went on two separate Polar Express adventures.
First, the movie at the iMax in Charlotte.
Then the REAL Polar Express in Bryson City.

On our road trip to Minnesota
the girls got to open a new gift
each time we entered a new state.

The girls loved it.

We had a wonderful time with family.

The girls played with all of their cousins
and was even visited by Santa,
who found us all the way in Minnesota.
