Anna - 8 Months

Anna is on the move.

She is crawling - quickly
and starting to pull herself up to standing.
She is so very coordinated.
I think she may be our athlete.

She is walking along the couch
and behind an upside down laundry basket.

She is so cheerful.
Her smile lights up the room
and her belly laugh is infectious.

Miss Kayla (her daycare teacher)
told me she hopes she gets an Anna
someday when she has babies.

Every day is a good day for Anna.

We've lowered Anna's crib mattress.
I usually find her standing in her crib
while waiting for me to come get her.

She is taking baths in the BIG tub
(sometimes with her sister).
She loves to crawl through the water,
chew on her rubber ducky,
and make big splashes with her hands.

Her two bottom teeth have popped through.
Her top teeth are not far behind.

Snow Weekend

As Sara put it,
"Elsa brought deep, deep snow!"

We experienced some snow/ice
over the weekend.
No school and no travel.

We never lost power - thank goodness.

On Sunday,
it was finally warm enough
to build Olaf, our snowman.

Sara put on her Elsa dress
for the occasion.

After our snow play,
we warmed up with Olaf sugar cookies
and hot chocolate.

Princess Morning

Sara & Mommy had a
special surprise date this week.

It was a secret to Sara
until that morning.

We got dressed
and sent baby Anna to daycare.

We had breakfast at home
until it was time to leave
for our special party.

After breakfast,
we put on Sara's princess dress
and drove to the preschool
that was putting on the party.

Sara got to meet Princess Anna!
She was so excited.
When she gave Princess Anna a hug,
she snuck a kiss on the cheek too!

She was a little scared of Batman.
She told me he has two scary eyes.
She did eventually give him "knuckles".

After we left the party
we stopped at Chic-Fil-A
for a yummy lunch.

Such a fun morning.

Love you, Sara Mae!
