Sara 3 and Anna 18 months

Sara is 3 1/2.

She is growing up so quickly.
She loves watching TV, movies, and playing leap pad.
Her new favorite is PJ Masks on Disney Junior.
She also loves My Little Pony.

She is independent, strong willed
and loves to make everyone laugh.
She looks out for her sister.

She is heading into that scary time
of feelings and emotions.
We navigate carefully but firmly.

She is a wonderful little girl
who aside from TV and electronics,
loves to read books,
play with her sister and friends,
play playdoh, color, paint.
She is quite the artist.

She's working at staying in the lines
while coloring - and does a great job!

She isn't as great of an eater as she once was.
She definitely has a fondness for sugar.
She still loves daddy's cooking
and mommy's pancakes.

She has a quite a special talent
for putting together puzzles.

Anna is 18 months
and repeating EVERYTHING.
Her teachers say she is the only baby
they can sit down and have a conversation with.

Her favorite word is "NO".

She not only repeats words
but uses them in the correct context.
She says her ABC's, 1,2,3's
and knows quite a few nursery rhymes.

Anna knows AND points to her
eyes, nose, mouth, ears, hair
hands, feet, belly, and belly button!

She loves music and dancing.
She loves her sister.
A daddy's girl but spoils her mama with hugs.

She is adventurous
with just the right amount of caution.

She loves books.
puppies
outside
night night time.
bubbles (baths)

She isn't so great at sharing yet.
We hear a lot of "NO, mine!"

She is an excellent eater.

She will play independently for awhile
and then suddenly run over for a hug.
Very sweet.

We love you Sara Mae & Anna Rose!

Festivus and Nutrition Challenge

October was an amazing month.

I participated in my first Crossfit competition
Festivus - hosted at Crossfit JuiceBox!

My partner was Mackenzie
and we did GREAT.
The workouts were tough
but we hung in there and pushed ourselves.

We took 2nd place!

The nutrition challenge
came at a time when I really needed it.
I was ready to fully commit
and I was 100% disciplined.

After six weeks,
I lost 8lbs of body fat
I lost 12"
and I maintained all of my 76 lbs of muscle!

I took 2nd place!

Barbells for Boobs

Barbell for Boobs was a success!

I raised $1300 and my team raised $23,550!
That's a LOT of mammograms.
I'm thrilled!

The workout was great.
I was partners with my neighbor friend
and we crushed it.

We took third place!

Olaf and Elsa

Happy Halloween
from Olaf and Elsa!

The girls had Trunk or Treat at school
Truck or Treat at church
and Trick or Treated the Wheatfield neighbors.

The girls also helped daddy carve a pumpkin.
Sara picked out the face.
Anna and Sara helped mommy sort out seeds.
Daddy did the cutting.

A Baptism and Birthday

We took a trip to MN/WI
in October
for our God baby Liam's baptism
and Mason's 2nd birthday.

We started in Hudson
and spent a few days with Nana & Papa.
Daddy raked some leaves into a pile
and the girls had a blast in them.

Mommy & Daddy snuck away
for a night out with some friends.

While the girls played with Nana & Papa,
Mommy & Daddy put some freezer meals together
for Aunt Jessica's parents.

I traveled to Bloomington, MN
for a day in the office.
I was also to meet up with Robert
for a crossfit workout before dinner with the Bolls.

The baptism went well and Liam is perfect.
The girls were antsy but they made it
without being too naughty.

We headed to the pizza place
for Mason's birthday party
after the baptism was over.

We left the birthday party
and drove straight to the hunting shack
or as Sara likes to call it, "the hunkin' shack"
to meet the Hannans for a few days of fun.

Mommy did a bad thing
and forgot to buckle Anna into her carseat.
As we were driving down Hwy 169
Anna stood up and smiled
while looking out the front window.
Sara yelled, "Mom!  Anna got out of her seat!"

Oops.
Mommy crawled into the backseat
and got her strapped back in right away.

We met up at the Wolf Creek Bar
where Sara enjoyed gambling
and Anna had a blast playing
video arcade games with Mason.

The girls enjoyed being with their cousins
and their God parents.
It was a nice & relaxing time.

Sara (and mommy) didn't enjoy the Ranger
but Anna was ALL smiles.

After leaving the shack,
we had a night in Hudson before catching
our early morning flight.

Uncle Alex and cousin Blake
were able to stop by and play.
