Swimming Lessons

Sara is back in swimming lessons

The jury is out whether she still enjoys it.

We are hearing a lot of "all done?"
when we're only halfway through class.

She enjoys reaching for toys in the water.
The kicking and splashing tires her out.

Mommy & daddy enjoy our
one-on-one time with her.

Swim Date

We had a family swim date
at the Lowe's YMCA.

They have a frog slide that Sara tried.
From the huge smile on her face,
I think she enjoyed it.
(Mommy and Daddy enjoyed it too!)

After swimming we had lunch at Red Robin.
Sara had a bottle.

Don't worry, it was only milk!

Swimming Lessons

We started Sara in swimming lessons
through the YMCA once she turned six months old.
This turned out to be a great experience
for all of us.

Sara is a natural!
She even caught the attention of her instructor
who told us that Sara will be a great swimmer.

Matt & I love the water.
We are very pleased to see Sara developing
the same love for swimming.

The shrimp class had her focusing on kicking
and reaching with her hands.
We learned how to enter and exit the water safely.
Every entry beings with 1... 2... 3!

We even made a few new friends!

Sara will be a Kipper or Inia
in the spring/summer.

Sara the Fish

Sara loves to kick and splash in the water.
