35 Weeks - Baby Two

21 weeks                                                35 weeks

Only a few more weeks
until we meet baby girl.

I can tell by her kicks
that she is getting stronger every day.

She has been head down
during my last couple appointments.

This has been a trying pregnancy
but I cannot believe I've now had
TWO
healthy and complication-free
pregnancies.

I feel so blessed
and so very excited to meet this little lady.

I also am excited to see Sara
step into her role as big sister.
I know she will be a great one.

33 weeks

Once again,
Lucy has the big job
of propping up my belly
when we're relaxing on the couch.

I'm looking forward
to having baby girl in my arms
rather than in my belly.
I can't wait to meet her!

I'm glad the pregnancy
is going well
and baby girl is happy and healthy.
Feeling beyond blessed!

Miss Sara

It's been so much fun
watching Sara's personality
blossom these last few months.

She changes daily and is learning
her limits.... and ours.
She loves doing things herself
and her vocabulary is impressive.

She loves
her big girl room
her big girl bed
brushing her own teeth
her visitors
her baby sister
her furr sissy
her daddy
and most of the time, her mommy.

I see her daddy in her smile
and her goofiness.

Night Two - Toddler Bed

Night two in the big girl bed
didn't go as well as night one
but it still went quite well.

At 1:00am
Sara was next to her bed
standing and crying.
I helped her back into bed
and put on her night light.

At 3:00am
I looked at the monitor
and she was sleeping on the floor.

At 5:30am
She cried for her paci.
It was next to her on the floor.
I gave it to her and
asked her to climb back into bed.
She did and stayed there
until I got her up a couple hours later.

I couldn't be happier
with how she's transitioned so far.
Nap time this weekend
will be interesting.

Myrtle Beach Trip

The Leskes wanted to visit Myrtle Beach,
so that's where we went!

I'm not one to turn down a trip
to the ocean.
Unfortunately, I had to work while there
to save time off work for maternity leave.

Nevertheless, we had a great time.

Sara loves the big ocean
and was the most excited
to see the ocean view
from our condo.

Sara enjoyed having
mommy & daddy
in her room.

Every morning,
she jumped into our bed to play.

We took a drive to Barefoot Landing
to do a little shopping

Later,
while mommy worked and Sara napped,
Daddy went para-sailing with Allison.

Daddy described para-sailing
as very relaxing.

Mommy woke Sara up from her nap
so we could enjoy some beach time.

Mommy misses laying on her tummy
so she dug a hole in the sand for the belly.

On our last day,
Mommy and Sara went to the pool
to eat our breakfast.

Mommy packed a bag
so we could go straight from
breakfast to swimming
while Daddy stayed back
to pack up the condo.

Vacation wore Sara out!

We left to drive home during her nap time
and Sara was out in a matter of minutes.
