31 Weeks Pregnant

Baby is growing perfectly.

We are getting very excited
to meet this little lady!

Our Leske Visitors

Auntie Linda and Cousin Allison
came for a visit over spring break.

Sara loved helping Auntie Linda
make breakfast.

Cousin Allison needed new boots
so we stopped at Nelson Royals.

Sara is excited for her own pair of boots
once she gets a little bigger
(and her feet stop growing so fast).

We had so much fun at
Sims Country BBQ
the week before
that we decided to go back.

Sara enjoyed dancing
and patiently waited between songs.

If the band would have paid her attention,
Sara would have told them,
"More music, please."

Her stare seemed to work too.

We had nice weather
and got to use Sara's sidewalk chalk.

We also took a fun trip to Myrtle Beach, SC!
(separate blog post).

On their last night,
Mommy got to sneak away
for a movie night.

We saw The Longest Ride.

Thanks for the fun visit and memories!

Sara Has Moved

Sara made the move
to her BIG girl room
and
BIG girl bed!

Sara did not want Lucy in her bed.

When Lucy jumped up,
Sara said, "No, get down!  Sara's bed!"

We wanted to move Sara
to her new room
as soon as our spring company had left.

We wasted no time.

I dropped off my aunt and cousin
yesterday morning
and last night was her first night.

We had some play time
in her new room
to help her feel comfortable.

Then transfered more toys
and items from her old room
to her new room.

When it came time to go to bed,
Matt read her a book in her new room
and we laid her down in her bed.

She cried for about 5 minutes
until we heard her say "paci!"
Matt walked in and gave her the paci
and we didn't hear another peep out of her.

The next morning,
I walked into her room at 7:30am
and she was still in bed.

We are so proud of our BIG girl!

Easter

Before Nana and Papa left,
Sara had a special visitor.

The Easter bunny!

On Easter morning,
Sara's aunt Linda and cousin Allison
were here from Washington.

Sara woke up to eggs scattered
down the hallway and stairway.

She also had two Easter baskets
waiting for her downstairs.

We had a little breakfast
and left for church.

Sara went up to the children's sermon
all by herself!

That's my independent little lady!

After church,
we decorated Easter eggs
before going down for a nap.

After nap,
Sara woke up to find the Easter bunny
had hid Easter eggs
all over the backyard!

We called over her friends
Gunnar and Oliver
to help her find them all.

One of the Easter eggs broke
and Sara had a nice little snack.
