31 Weeks



Golf in January

One of the many reasons I love North Carolina.

After almost passing out in church that morning

(The third trimester sure is grand.)

I decided swinging a club wasn't in my best interests.



Instead, I was Matt's designated cart driver.

Dining Room Chairs

Our house guests have been busy.

Not long after they arrived,

we took a trip to my new favorite store

Hobby Lobby

to pick out fabric for the dining room chairs.

Our Old Friend

SNOW.

The warnings were all over the evening news.

I still didn't think we would see anything accumulate.

However, today we woke up to a winter wonderland in NC.



I don't think our MN guests were too pleased

but Lucy was happy about it.

Personally, I love snow when I know it will be gone by noon

and we still have the potential for THIS in the winter.

I can hardly contain my excitement...!

Our very first house guests
will be arriving on Friday evening.

Perfect timing for a beautiful NC weekend in the 70's!

Said "good-bye" to family and friends.

Matt started his new job with Lowe's

I started working remotely.

The house hunt began.

March 2012

We decided to build our house.

(and all that comes with building a house...)

April 2012

Our first visitors...

We toured Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Rented a pontoon and relaxed on Lake Norman.

Watched our house go up.

May 2012

A quick trip to MN for Trabby's (Travis & Abby's) wedding.

Our first time to the NC shore (OBX).

Zip-lined in South Carolina.

Closed on our new house.

June 2012

Moved into our house.

Summer vacation in MN - the houseboat (part I)

McGraw/Chesney Target Field concert.

Found out we're having a baby!

We first saw our baby's heartbeat.

Visited Tom, Linda, and Lisa in Calabash, NC for Christmas.

Our first Christmas in North Carolina (no snow, but 60 degrees!)

Got the baby's room ready - for the most part.

A lot of growing in the belly region.

Third Trimester

Already?

YES!

Baby Snegosky is growing right on track.

Only twelve more weeks to go.

I'm feeling kicks galore.

I'm trying to get a video of my belly moving from the outside

but I think baby can sense the camera and stops moving

as soon as I hit "record" (already stubborn, like daddy).

Next week is my 28 week appointment

when I gulp the sugar drink to see if I have gestational diabetes.

I'm glad this test wasn't scheduled until after Christmas

so I could enjoy all the Christmas sweets semi-guilt-free.

After the recent addition of the nursery glider,

I'm feeling pretty good about my preparedness.

I have a list of essentials left to buy

but otherwise we are ready to welcome baby Snegosky.

I'm looking forward to painting the nursery,

putting up decorations,

and learning to sew

with Grandma & Grandpa Snegosky.

And just their company in general.
